A Douglas man will stand trial after being accused of causing unnecessary suffering to his dog.
50-year-old Ross Ward, of Quines Corner, appeared at Douglas Courthouse last week.
He entered a not guilty plea to the offence which is said to have taken place against his West Highland Terrier on October 26th last year.
It's alleged he didn't provide the correct skincare, bathing or grooming for his pet.
A pre-trial review will take place on May 4th - he's been bailed in the meantime.
